A young Antonio Aguas Beserra combines a love for his Grandmother's candy with the signature flavor of this region in Mexico - TEQUILA
His candy was soon dubbed the "borrachito" for it's distinctive taste. The sale of Antonio's candy increased and his children were enlisted to help run the business. His son Raul showed a particular interest in creating new flavors and refining the original family recipe.
As the business continued to grow, Raul took over from his father and moved production to nearby Guadalajara in 1978. Today, Raul's sons Eduardo and Graciani produce what has been recognized as one of the most unique candies in Mexico.
